Syrian Pianist Cimuk Performed Piano Recital in Fatih

A young pianist Tambi Asaad Cimuk who fled Syria with his family to seek refuge in Turkey and was granted Turkish citizenship gave concert in foyer area of Fatih Municipality.

Famous pianist Tambi Asaad Cimuk gave concert in foyer area of the service building of Fatih Municipality who fled from Syria with his family to Turkey to escape the civil war and became Turkish citizen through a decree signed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Cimuk’s fans filled the foyer area for ‘Yaza Merhaba’ concert organized by Fatih Municipality in which Cimuk took the stage and played classical pieces from Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven Pathetique, Rachmaninoff, Prelude, Chopin Scherzo. Cimuk entertained guests with his piano recital. Citizens accompanied the Syrian pianist with their hands when Cimuk played these pieces. Piano player Cimuk received full marks from the audiences for his piano recital.

''I WANT TO CARRY MY COUNTRY TO BETTER PLACES WITH MUSIC''

Syrian young pianist Tambi Asaad Cimuk who performed concert officially for the first time in Istanbul Fatih Municipality: ''Tonight's concert was very nice. I've played pieces from different composers during the concert. I hope to come together with the piano lovers in more professional concerts in future. I've been given many opportunities after taking Turkish citizenship. This decree signed by the President has provided great convenience for me to go abroad and take part in festivals. I am very happy and I am proud of this. I want to carry my country to higher places.’’

''IT MAKES ME HAPPY TOO WHEN PEOPLE ENJOY MUSIC''

Pianist Cimuk: ''Music soothes the soul. It makes people happy. It's very relaxing and everybody loves it. Whenever I play beautiful pieces, I see that people are happy. It also makes me happy to see other people enjoying music. I just want to make good music and relax the souls of guests.''

Fatih Municipality, Directorate of Cultural and Social Affairs Abdullah Kargılı gave flowers to the Syrian Piano Player Cimuk at the end of the concert of Yaza Merhaba.
