Along with the summer season, special care of the animals in Yedikule Animal Shelter has been carried out. Animals were firstly shaved along with the shelter officials and volunteers, then they were washed and dried and the animals enjoyed the sun. In addition, animals are ensured to spend the summer season in a comfortable way in their shelters that are houses of love for them without being disturbed by the hot weather by means of the umbrellas placed in the shelter.

ANIMALS ENJOY THEIR PRIVATE POOL

Animals also have special pools in Yedikule Animal Shelter. The paralyzed dogs are made swim in the pool in company with the officials and volunteers, in this way their muscles are ensured to be strengthened and the animals can become cooler on hot summer days. Not only paralyzed dogs but also other animals enjoy the pool, they become cooler under hot weather with a great pleasure.

HERE IS A HOUSE OF LOVE

Stating that animals can use the pool only in company with the officials and volunteers, Fatih Municipality Yedikule Animal Shelter's supervisor Meral Olcay said: ‘Here, undoubtedly the greatest needs of our animals are attention and love. Therefore, we never leave them alone in the pool. We also meet their need for love which is one of their basic needs along with our volunteers. Therefore, Yedikule Animal Shelter provides animals with a service which is far beyond meeting the needs for sheltering and eating. The only missing of our animals is finding a permanent nest. We look forward to see all animal lovers and those who want to own animals in our shelter which is open for 7 days.’
