The First Fast Breaking was organized with the Traditional Cannon Shot at Sultanahmet

First fast breaking took place in Sultanahmet with performance of the Mehter band and Koran chanting followed by cannon shot of the artillery unit under the First Army Command.

In the fast breaking program organized by the Fatih Municipality at Sultanahmet Square, first fast breaking took place accompanied by performance of the Mehter band and Koran chanting followed by cannon shot of the artillery unit under the First Army Command. The program that was organized at Sultanahmet Square attracted attention of citizens. The fast break stated with Koran chanting and followed by concert of the Mehter band. After traditional cannon shot of the artillery unit citizens broke their fasts. Many visitors from Türkiye and abroad in addition to Fatih and Istanbul came together at a spiritual fast breaking table.
