From Nusret Çolpan Art Gallery to Digital: Gaza Charity Exhibition Now Open for Virtual Tours on Our Website

The Gaza Charity Exhibition, one of Fatih Municipality's cultural, artistic and conscience-based events, has been moved to the digital environment after its conclusion, gaining new access point. The exhibition, which was held at the Nusret Çolpan Art Gallery and received great interest, can now be visited as a virtual tour on the official website of Fatih Municipality. Thus, even though the exhibition has ended physically, its meaning, message and spirit continue to live on in the digital world.

The exhibition, which was opened with the honourable presence of Mr. M. Ergün Turan, the Mayor of Fatih Municipality, was brought to life with the contributions of Mr. Yusuf İyilik, ASKON, the Deniz Feneri Association and numerous art lovers. The exhibition was not only an art event but also a collective call of conscience against the humanitarian tragedy unfolding in Gaza. In his opening speech, Mr. Turan highlighted this, stating, ‘Art has been the voice of goodness throughout history. Every piece exhibited here is a call for hope, solidarity, and support for Gaza,’ emphasising the exhibition's significance.

The Gaza Charity Exhibition turned the universal language of art into a window of conscience. The works in the exhibition created a powerful narrative, bringing together artists from different disciplines in a shared sentiment. The gallery walls, adorned with oil paintings, calligraphy and paper marbling (ebru) works, photographs and examples of contemporary art, reflected both aesthetic depth and human awareness.

Some works depicted the children of Gaza, while others carried the historical traces of Palestine. Prayers written in calligraphy symbolised patience and resilience, while paper marbling patterns reflected the continuity of hope. Photographs made visible the lives struggling to survive after the war, creating a venue where art became testimony.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors not only embarked on an artistic journey but also reconsidered the meaning of kindness, solidarity, and human consciousness. The atmosphere in the exhibition hall clearly reflected the transformative power of art. Participants expressed that art represents a social conscience beyond being an aesthetic expression.

After the exhibition concluded, Fatih Municipality transferred this meaningful gathering to a digital platform, creating a wider access area. The virtual tour offers the opportunity to experience the exhibition again with its authentic atmosphere. Visitors can walk step by step through the gallery, closely examine each piece and read their descriptions. Thus, the Gaza Charity Exhibition is no longer just an event but has become a permanent place of memory.

Fatih Municipality's initiative also represents a new understanding that takes the boundaries of art beyond physical space. Those who missed the exhibition or wish to relive it can visit the virtual tour on the municipality's official website. Accompanied by visuals and informative texts, this digital experience offers viewers both the aesthetic aspect of art and the humanitarian message conveyed by the exhibition.

The transfer of the Gaza Charity Exhibition to the virtual environment records the continuity of goodness in digital memory. This call, which does not end with the closing of the exhibition, reaches more people in the digital environment. Each visit becomes a journey that touches the conscience through art.

Thanks to this work, Fatih Municipality continues to make visible both the unifying power of art and the universal language of solidarity. The Gaza Charity Exhibition now lives on not within the confines of a hall, but in a space of conscience accessible from anywhere in the world.

The virtual tour of the exhibition can be accessed via the official website of Fatih Municipality. The Gaza Charity Exhibition continues to be the common voice of art, kindness and humanity in the digital realm.
