Silahtar Ağa Sıbyan School under Restoration

Maintenance and repair works of Silahtar Ağa Sıbyan School have been initiated.

Commissioned in 1761 by Mehmet Ağa, the armourer of Sultan Mustafa and allocated to our Municipality, the survey, restitution and restoration projects of the Silahtar Ağa Sıbyan School in Emin Sinan Quarter were prepared and approval was obtained from the Conservation Board. In line with the approved projects, the school, which is included in the Social and Cultural Facility areas, has been added to the restoration process and the repair works are planned to be completed in 2024.
