Urban Transformation Underway in Fatih: Risky Buildings Transformed into Resistant Houses

The transformation process of risky buildings in Fatih is underway. Property owners accelerate the transformation process thanks to the ‘Half on Us’ (Yarısı Bizden) campaign by achieving earthquake-resistant buildings. A citizen, acting together with the property owners, obtained the building licences and started the transformation process by obtaining the absolute majority in his building with risky status. In this project in Fatih, while the buildings are completely renovated, there is no loss of floors and square metres. A safer living space is created for our citizens.

New buildings are constructed as earthquake-resistant. In order to complete this process in a faster and more economical way, the right holders who have received the title deeds of condominium easement benefit from the ‘Half on Us’ campaign initiated by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change.
