Young Athletes Compete Vehemently at School Sports Rowing Championship

School Sports Rowing Junior (A-B) and Adults Türkiye Championship hosted by Fatih Municipality Canoe and Rowing Center was organized with the participation of 39 schools and 300 athletes from 11 provinces. The young athletes who were successful in the close competition were awarded cups and medals.

Organized by Fatih Municipality Youth and Sports Unit, School Sports Rowing Junior (A-B) and Adults Türkiye Championship took place in Istanbul, the heart of water sports, at the Canoe and Rowing Center. This exciting event was enlivened thanks to the participation of a total of 300 athletes and trainers from 39 schools from Adana, Ankara, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Edirne, İstanbul, İzmir, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Sinop and Van provinces. The participants who ranked highest in the close competition among young athletes were awarded cups and medals. The competition received great interest not only of the athletes but also of the audience.

In the Junior Men's category, Fatih Gelenbevi Anatolian, TOKİ Anatolian, Lokman Hekim Anatolian, Sinop Atatürk Anatolian, Sinop Seydi Ali Reis M. T. Anatolian and ÇEAS Anatolian high schools came to the forefront while in the Junior Women's category, Sinop Fen and TED Ankara College, Sunar Nuri ÇOMU Anatolian, Büyük Çiğli Private Turkish College Anatolian and Lokman Hekim Anatolian high schools stood out. İsmail Kaymak College and Sinop Şehit Halil Öz Doğru Secondary School were among runner ups in the Adult Men category while Mehmet Adil İkiz Secondary School and Çanakkale Bahçeşehir College were among the runner ups in Adult Women category.
